Mumri Trolls are the most common Trolls encountered by the players of The Elder Scrolls. They are also a well-known race in Tamriel, although their depiction in The Elder Scrolls games is less gentle than their appearance in art, as they are depicted as grotesque, snarling beasts.
Mumiy Trolls appear to be vaguely humanoid, but are covered in warts and with a long nose that is permanently curved into a sneer. They have large ears and dark blue, almost black eyes. Only their mouths are visible, as they wear a heavy beard that covers the rest of their face. Most of them wear heavy robes and carry a staff or club. They wield a variety of magic spells, including Frost Atronachs, as well as various types of Fighters Guild equipment, such as Maces, Staves and War Axes.
Mumiy Troll (Russian: Мумий Тролль) is a Russian rock group, founded in 1983 in Vladivostok by vocalist and songwriter Ilya Lagutenko (Russian: Илья Лагутенко). The band's name translates as "mummy troll" and is a pun on Mumintroll, the children's books series by Tove Jansson.
