    INTJ (5w4)

Nine Inch Nails personality type is INTJ, and the only one among the five that is a “dark” personality. Although I’m more like an ENFP, I look more like a 7 out of 9, and while I do tend toward the short end of the spectrum, I’m still quite tall compared to most people, so I don’t feel like I belong in the tall range.)

As I get older I feel more and more like I’m slipping into this type of relationship. I get along with people better than most introverted types, and I am good at managing people and situations. I’m not very good at making decisions on my own, and tend to get things done through others. I’m also not good at defending myself and tend to be very passive. I’m quiet and reserved and tend to spend a lot of time alone.

It’s not that I don’t like being with people, but for some reason I don’t feel like I can be myself in a relationship. Instead I feel like what my partner is seeing is the persona I put on when it’s time to interact with others.

Nine Inch Nails, commonly abbreviated as NIN and stylized as NIИ, is an American industrial rock band formed in 1988 in Cleveland, Ohio. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Trent Reznor was the only permanent member of the band until the official addition of English musician Atticus Ross in 2016. The band's debut album, Pretty Hate Machine, was released via TVT Records. After feuding with TVT about how to promote the album, Reznor signed with Interscope Records and released the EP Broken. The following Nine Inch Nails albums, The Downward Spiral and The Fragile, were released to critical acclaim and commercial success. Following a hiatus, Nine Inch Nails resumed touring in 2005 and released their fourth album, With Teeth. Following the release of Year Zero, Reznor left Interscope after a feud. Nine Inch Nails continued touring and independently released Ghosts I–IV and The Slip before a second hiatus.
