Orchid personality type is INTJ, and whilst they're not as rare as they were in the 90s and early 2000s, the stereotype of the reserved and quiet INTJ is still one that many people believe applies to all INTJs. INTJs are business-minded and relatively quiet, and their 'introverted' nature is not something they like to broadcast to the world. But generally, INTJs are not introverted for introversion's sake. They are simply far more likely to focus on their own internal mental processes than to open themselves up to loud, chaotic external feedback. INTJs are not introverts because they are shy, or because they are so focused on themselves that they don't have time to socialise. It's because they are more likely to be thinking about their own thoughts than to be thinking about the thoughts of other people around them. They are more likely to be thinking about what they are going to say next in their own conversation than to be considering the words that are being said to them.
INTJs are not introverts just because they aren't very chatty. They are introverts because they prefer to focus on their own internal world rather than the external world.
