Silverchair personality type is INFP, but in my experience, they're usually very unassuming about it, and very unassuming about themselves. It's almost like they're just kind of not really part of the group, or not really there. I think it's probably very hard to be an INFP when you're in a band full of musicians who are all quite extroverted. But I think it's so important to be INFP when you're in a band, because it's an outlet for the way that personality works.
There's so much pressure to conform, and you have to really try hard to not conform. It's so easy to just fall into the path of the group. I think INFPs are people who really want to find their own way. I think that's why they gravitate towards bands, because it's like, there's someone that you can turn to that’s like "I'm like that." You can talk to this person, and you can share your thoughts with someone else who is like that.
And 99% of the time, if you're an INFP in a band, you're probably the leader.
