One of the most powerful and mysterious of all the personality types, the ENFJ is also one of the most misunderstood. It is my personal opinion that ENFJs are extremely misunderstood due to their sometimes abrasive or bossy behavior, their tendency to be a bit stubborn, and their often overwhelming desire to be liked. Witty and bright, they are often people-pleasers who hide their true feelings and desires from others. ENFJs are rarely seen as being angry about anything, but they are so angry inside. The difference is that they are upset that they have been angry for so long that they have become numb to it. While ENFJs may appear angry on the surface, it is not their true nature. It is just a defense mechanism that they have learned to use. When angry, ENFJs are extremely direct and even a little blunt with those they are angry at. As a result, they can often be perceived as angry or angry-acting people. They may even bristle at being told they are angry.
