Ivypool personality type is ISTP, and we think we’re introverts, but we’re not. We feel just as much at ease in a group of people as we do in a room of one. In fact, we become very extroverted when we’re in a group of people. We have a very broad range of emotions and interact with people in a very spontaneous way.
We’ve been called a “people person” and a “people magnet.” However, this is a misconception. We don’t seem to have a problem making friends, but we have a problem keeping them! I’m not being critical here. We think making friends is the greatest thing in the world, and it always has been. It’s just that we’re not that good at maintaining them.
We also think that we have a tendency to be talkative, but this isn’t necessarily true. We can be quiet around people we really care about. People tell us that they sometimes feel like they don’t have a voice when they’re around us. You know what? We feel the same way!
