Puddles is an amiable purple earth pony and a student at pony school. He is a true friend and acts as one of the main protagonists of "Call of the Cutie". He seems to love to take walks with his pony friends, and participates in regular activities such as playing games during a hike, and even helping to build a bridge while on a field trip.
