It is a collection of essays, speeches, and interviews exploring the science behind psychedelic medicine. She is also the editor of "Psychedelic Medicine: Expanding Mind-Altering Therapy into Psychiatry", which was released in 2017.

    Melinda Warner was born in Toronto, Canada, in 1964. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Queen's University in 1984, and went on to do a PhD in psychology at Queen’s University in 1989. She completed an internship at the University of British Columbia before joining the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute in 1992.

    Dr. Melinda Warner is the founder of the non profit Psychedelic Research Centre, which has been active since 1995.
