I have not met Nate personally. I met him in the comments of my post that asked for information on the background of the “Thoroughly Disappointed” woman. He said he was her husband, and that she had died in 2002. Since it’s been the weekend, I have not yet taken much time to go through his comments. As I read them, I found myself much more interested in his perspective than in his actual story.
Nate writes, “I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I’m not sure where else to go.” That’s a good place to post it. And he did an excellent job of telling his story, making it clear that he is not full of bitterness or anger at God or God’s Word or Jesus or Christianity or anyone else.
