Constance Carmell personality type is ESFP, one of the four types of extroverts. I’ve always loved that, because I’m an extrovert, but I think that she was the first person that I ever encountered that had a personality type that was clearly an extrovert.
I had this book by Dr. David Keirsey called Please Understand Me II, where he’s talking about different types of extroverts. He gives some examples of each of the 16 different types. I was like, “Oh my gosh, why hasn’t someone made a movie about this?” That really made me want to know more, so I read every book I could on the subject.
I started on the forum that has now become the Myers-Briggs forum, and then I got into books like The Wisdom of the Enneagram and books by Dr. David Keirsey. I ended up reading almost everything that I could on extroversion.
I ended up meeting people on the forum who became some of my best friends in the world. They gave me some really great life advice, which was amazing to me at the time, because they were extroverts.
