Ragamuffin personality type is ISTP, but they can be easily mistaken for ISTJs. They are popular authors in their field. ISTPs are also known as ‘Ragamuffins’, as they are experienced in life, but this experience is still new to them.
So, the ISTP has a unique combination of introverted thinking and extraverted sensing. These two functions are so well-integrated in them that they can seem like one continuous action. It is not uncommon for ISTPs to be seen doing the opposite of what they are actually thinking or sensing.
When an ISTP Introvert is faced with a situation that is obviously not comfortable with, they will often be seen doing the opposite of what they feel. The ISTP will often try to force them self into a situation that is clearly uncomfortable. This is why an ISTP is sometimes seen as a “Ragamuffin”.
