Tine personality type is ESFJ, on the other hand.
To me, this is the most interesting and helpful side of Jung's theory for me. The idea that we all have a "unique" mix of personality characteristics and that our "unique" mix is the key to our own happiness and fulfillment. We are our own best friends and it's not the other person who makes us happy or unhappy. It's simply our own personality traits interacting with the people in our lives.
I'm sure many of you will disagree with me on this subject, but I find this concept to be very liberating. And one of the things I hope to learn more about as I continue on in my personal growth is how to interact with others more authentically and more empathetically.
And that's why I think this book is so useful. It's a great way to get a quick glimpse of what it is like to be an ESFJ.
