It all started at the age of ten. I played a lot of games way back when, and my favorite was Dota. I'd get my friends together and we'd play DotA together on a LAN, and we had a lot of fun doing so. I loved playing with them, but I also loved playing with them even more when I was on my own, so I played a lot of games on my own.
One day, in the summer of 2000, I got a new computer, in a box from a friend. It was a Pentium Pro 200Mhz, with 16-bit color and a 56K modem. I called my friend, with whom I had bought the computer, and told him how much I loved the computer. He said he'd bring it over in a few days.
I made a TF2 server on my computer, and invited my friends from school over to play on it.
