Sakaki is still a student at Shujin Academy. He is usually seen with his friends, Labrys and Mitsuru. He is not interested in the S.E.E.S project or Shadow Operatives Project, because he has yet to meet Yu. The movie begins with Team S.E.E.S members getting ready to face a Shadow Operative, but they are interrupted by a mysterious girl who warns them that the Shadow Operative is planning to destroy the world with a device hidden under the school. Someone else attacks them, but this time S.E.E.S members Team M.O.E.S. fight back and defeat it. They then go to school, where they see a huge crowd of students hugging each other and seemingly happy about something, but they don't know what it is.
