Peg personality type is ESFP, and the only ESFPs I know who are good at business are those who have some kind of unique skill. It’s not just about knowing about business, it’s about having a distinct skill that you can demonstrate to people.
Pegs are often described as “people pleasers”, but that makes sense only to people who don’t know any ESFPs. ESFPs are not people pleasers. They are people extenders.
You want to be gracious, but you don’t want to be too graceful. You don’t want to be too smooth, but you also don’t want to be too rough. You want to be charming, but you also don’t want to come across as fake.
Again, I don’t think I know any ESFPs who are good businessmen. But I do know ESFPs who are good at making people feel good about themselves. Even if they don’t sell anything. They just make people feel good about themselves by being nice.
And that’s what it’s all about.
