Penderwick began her nursing career at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and then proceeded to find her way into many other areas of nursing, including: medical administrative work, clinical and surgical nursing, emergency department nursing, and pulmonary care.
Rosalind Penderwick was hired by the Goldens Bridge Nursing Center in 1989 and began her work there as a registered nurse.
