I love fantasy novels and I’ve read The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Game of Thrones, so obviously I’m a fan of fantasy and/or experience with fantasy.
I’d like to say that I’m not a typical fantasy fan and that my love for fantasy novels doesn’t just come from those books. The reason I became interested in fantasy as a genre was because of the TV show True Blood.
Before True Blood came out, I was watching a lot of zombie shows, such as The Walking Dead and Z Nation. I watched those shows because I really liked zombie movies. It was after True Blood came on the air that I started watching fantasy shows.
True Blood was the first fantasy show I really started watching. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it at first, but it surprised me. I made the decision to watch it later than everyone else did because I was too busy with schoolwork.
At first, it was just OK.
