I am most motivated by my imagination, and how it can be used to create something beautiful. My work is often inspired by my experiences in nature, and I often spend many hours per day reading about nature, science, and history. I also spend many hours per week drawing and writing, practicing writing poetry and prose in my free time (on my own personal blog, where I usually write about nature, history, and my observations of the people in my life). Aside from this, I spend many hours per week listening to podcasts I’ve found on Youtube, or podcasts I’ve found in the iTunes store (for example, I spend about 5-6 hours per week listening to the podcast “Nerd Sake”).
I have a dark side, however. Sometimes I have a passion for art that can get out of hand. I have also been known to spend many hours per week listening to music that is not good for me. I am very sensitive to sound at times, especially when it comes to any sort of electronic music. I have also been known to spend many hours per week driving around in my truck, at times driving too fast.
Allan Wolf is an acclaimed poet and storyteller. Author of "The Watch That Ends the Night: Voices from the Titanic" and "Who Killed Christopher Goodman?"
