The actual game changed very little, but was advertised as a major upgrade to the original. It was very successful, but the company that made it, Stoneblade, isn’t doing much better.
Stoneblade, the company that originally made Android: Netrunner, is in deep financial trouble. The company is reportedly owed money by multiple companies. The Bank of Montreal froze their assets because the company didn’t pay their bills. This is what happens when you start making games based on other people’s ideas.
The original Android: Netrunner was released in 2012, so it has been over three years since the Kickstarter campaign was supposed to launch.
