Marie Kondo personality type is ISFJ, and she is a great representation of the type. She is very organized and methodical and she thinks of her possessions as items that she needs to keep track of and be responsible for. I also think of myself as a very organized person and I think we can all relate to this!
I have a very small, yet very important, collection of vintage fabric I’ve collected over the years. So naturally when I decided to make a quilt out of my fabric stash I wanted to organize it into sections. So I used my konmari method to separate my fabric into sections. First I needed to find a storage solution for all my fabrics. I went with a large piece of cardboard and I made dividers in my fabric. Then I made another piece of cardboard out of old receipts or any other way I could think of. It was pretty simple, but it worked!
Then came the tedious work of sorting my fabrics. From here on in my posts are going to be heavily pictures heavy because that is what really made this process fun for me! Since I have so many different pieces of fabrics, I wanted to put them all in categories. I started by opening each category and sorting my fabrics into groups.
