Moacyr Scliar personality type is INFP, which means that I’m an introvert, intuitive, feeling-perceiving sensualist.
I don’t read many books, but when I do, I find them difficult to put down. I love to write, but I’m not sure whether it’s because of my extrovert or introvert traits. Sometimes I feel like the writer of this blog, but usually I don’t. I can be very shy especially when it comes to making new friends.
I’m always on the lookout for books that will help me better understand myself, and so far, all I’ve found are these four:
1. The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown.
This is the first book I’ve read about people with an INFP personality type. It was difficult to read at first, but the point of the book is that all of us, even the most successful of us, are still flawed enough that we just need to accept that and work with it instead of overcoming it. As someone with this type of personality, I can relate to that.

Moacyr Jaime Scliar (March 23, 1937 – February 27, 2011) was a Brazilian writer and physician. Most of his writing centers on issues of Jewish identity in the Diaspora and particularly on being Jewish in Brazil. Scliar is best known outside Brazil for his 1981 novel Max and the Cats (Max e os Felinos), the story of a young German man who flees Berlin after he comes to the attention of the Nazis for having had an affair with a married woman. Making his way to Brazil, his ship sinks, and he finds himself alone in a dinghy with a jaguar who had been travelling in the hold.
