Paul Celan personality type is INFP, and his art is INFP art. There is no doubt about that.
But, I don't find it very helpful to give away the key to the treasure that is INFPs and say "look at this art and then see what that means," and then say "therefore, this is the Celan personality type." This is what I would say to a reader who already has a clear understanding of the Celan personality type: "I'd like to point out that your understanding of the INFP personality type was nuanced and complicated and beautiful and true, and perhaps you wouldn't have appreciated this book so much if you were just going in looking for a Celan personality type." I don't believe that I can do anything to help a person understand a person's own experience of a work of art better than they already do, and I don't think that I'm qualified to do that.
I do think that this book has a lot to say to people who are already familiar with the Celan personality type. If you know all about INFPs already, or if you have a feeling for what your INFPs are like, you will probably enjoy this book.
Paul Celan (/ˈsɛlæn/; German: [ˈtseːlaːn]; 23 November 1920 – c. 20 April 1970) was a Romanian-born German-language poet and translator. He was born as Paul Antschel to a Jewish family in Cernăuți (German: Czernowitz), in the then Kingdom of Romania (now Chernivtsi, Ukraine), and adopted the pseudonym "Paul Celan". He became one of the major German-language poets of the post–World War II era.
