What is the personality type of Peter Straub? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Peter Straub from Writers Literature Modern and what is the personality traits.
Peter Straub personality type is ENFP, which is fairly accurate. Where he went wrong though, was turning this into a mystery novel. The parts about the character are too short, and could easily have been combined into one or two pages. This would have given Straub's message more impact, and the mystery novel would have been better.
The thing I have the most problem with is the ending. I felt cheated. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, Straub seizes the reader by the throat. He goes from being indifferent to caring very quickly. It's not believable. It's hard to see how this man could have so much emotional intensity over somebody he didn't even know.
I think Straub was trying to show that people are more than just their physical appearances. He also wanted to show that people are capable of caring for each other.
I still think that this book is an interesting idea, but it's lacking in execution. If this book were edited, it could be a good story, but as is, it's not very good.
