Shūji Terayama personality type is ENTP, and he was a great programmer. I think he’s the only guy in the world who could have written Deliverance. In fact, he wrote the computer game for it. He said at the time, “When I start writing, I don’t think about anything else.” And I thought, “Wow! What a talent!” Then I heard he died in a car accident—I can’t believe it! A car accident! I feel like I’m at the bottom of the world. You know, if he had burned himself or committed suicide or something like that, at least it would have had some kind of meaning. But this… He was just killed by a car! Well, fuck him. And fuck this world. Maybe it really is hard to die.
