Corey Carling personality type is ENFP, which is why I absolutely love his books, as well as the Dragonriders of Pern series. His personality type is one that I think is most accurately described by the acronym ENFJ, which is why I think they're so compatible. He's a very open and sociable person, with a huge heart and a lot of empathy for others. He's a great storyteller, and sometimes that's all you need to know about the characters he writes about. The biggest difference I see between him and my husband is that his writing is more focused on action and adventure and less on relationships. His books are about survival and about fighting for your life, and he's pretty much always got things to fight for.
The Liaden Universe books are a scifi/fantasy series set in a galaxy that is very similar to our own but with a few key differences. It's called the Liaden Universe because it's got a set of ten volumes of science fiction, fantasy, and scifi books (and one graphic novel) that take place in the same universe, but each book has its own distinct setting with its own characters.
