Another common misconception about ISTPs is that their primary function is Ni, and that they are only secondary Ti users. While this is pretty true with some ISTPs, many others are Ti users from day 1 and Ni users later on.
ISTPs do not like to impose themselves on others, they like to be free to do their own thing, and are typically good at doing their own thing without being attached to it.
