Meronym personality type is INFJ, as I was getting a lot of this information from my INFJ husband.
I was also very interested in the idea of the unconscious as a totally separate alien entity who was also a part of me at some point, and how this idea could affect my personality.
I was a very emotional child, but it wasn't until I was a teenager that I started to understand this.
I had read "The Secret Life of the Unconscious" by C.G. Jung, and was pretty blown away by the insights into human personality that he had.
I was certainly not a complete newbie to personality typing, as I had read a lot of Myers-Briggs material about personality types, and had been doing some personality typing on my own as well.
In any case, I was extremely intrigued by the idea of a personality type being a part of me that was alien and not myself, and how this idea could affect my personality.
What was I going to find out?
Well, I started to look at the INFJ personality type.
In linguistics, meronymy is a semantic relation between a meronym denoting a part and a holonym denoting a whole. In simpler terms, a meronym is in a part-of relationship with its holonym. For example, finger is a meronym of hand which is its holonym. Similarly, engine is a meronym of car which is its holonym. Holonymy is the converse of meronymy. A closely related concept is that of mereology, which specifically deals with part–whole relations and is used in logic. It is formally expressed in terms of first-order logic. A meronymy can also be considered a partial order. A meronym refers to a part. A hyponym refers to a type. For example, a meronym of tree is bark or leaf, but a hyponym of tree is pine tree or oak tree.
