Desmond personality type is INTP, and while I’m not a big fan of the “dominant” personality type labels that are often attached to these letters, it does seem to fit. To quote the INTP subreddit:
The traditional descriptions of the INTP personality type were quite accurate. The INTP is a unique and complicated individual. We are often misunderstood, and our creativity and intelligence can be misused if it is not channeled in the right way.
I’d like to add that I’m not saying that people with this personality type are necessarily highly creative or highly intelligent. I’m just saying that Desmond is. This personality type is also known for being pretty sensitive, which is part of why they don’t like the “dominant” label. They don’t want to be perceived as dominating others, even if others are doing the dominating.
On the other hand, being sensitive can actually be a real advantage for someone who is an INTP, since it can be used to understand people better, and even to listen to their emotions more accurately.
