As one of the newbies, he has no knowledge of the rules, so he’s not afraid to go all out. He’s the type of person who just goes all out with what they have to do, so it’s not surprising that he gets thrown into the newbie training room with no idea of what is going on. It becomes apparent after Yukihira explains the rules of the game that he’s more than surprised by them. He’s also curious about his teammates, which is quite obvious considering he asked about them.
Being a huge fan of anime and manga, he’s easily one of the most curious characters out there. While that curiosity cause him to annoy his teammates, he’s still curious about their personalities. He’s always looking to learn more about them, which is something that I’ve also observed with ESTP types. They tend to be very curious about other people’s differences and traits.
