So I want to take this moment to ask for something. Something that’s been on my mind for a while now.
I want to write a sequel to One Piece.
I know, huge request, right? But, I have a couple of reasons for wanting to do so. Number one, I love the story. It’s a beautiful narrative about a boy, a man, and a pirate. It’s a story about a boy who wanted to become the Pirate King, and a man who wanted to become the strongest person in the world. It’s a story about a boy who wanted to be a pirate because he felt that was the only life he could have. It’s a story about a boy who wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps because he felt that was the only way to make him proud. So many stories about boys growing up and becoming men at the same time.
