Yo Shindo “Grand” personality type is ENFJ, an Introverted Feeling type. I’m not sure whether the four-letter name is enough proof for anyone who hasn’t recognized ESFJ before.
Anyway, the Japanese name I chose for my ENFJ character in Gintama was “Kame.” The reason I chose it is because “Kame” is a Japanese word that means “wave.”
When I was thinking about what kind of people to have in my dream team, I thought about what kind of wave they are. The ENFJ’s dominant function is Intuition, so they must have something related to waves.
If you go to the beach in Japan, you’ll see a lot of waves. Even the waves in the ocean have a beautiful form that has a gentle curve in it. Waves are beautiful in the sense that they are soft and gentle yet also have a certain strength to them.
I think that’s what I mean when I chose the name “Kame.
