Asgard of Taurus personality type is ENFJ, either 19 or 20. The only way the true spirit of the "human" can stand up to the power of the Time Lords is if the human is put into the hands of the TARDIS. As the Doctor is 'human' he can stand up to that power. This also explains why the TARDIS has never brought the Doctor home. The reason is that the TARDIS has no intention of leaving him. The Doctor is the only person the TARDIS has allowed to travel with her, and she will travel with him until her last breath. He is her last chance to see the universe. She knows that if she were to take him home, he would not be able to handle the responsibility of being the Time Lord again. The Doctor has always been a 'last chance'. A last chance to see all there is to see, a last chance to save everything that needs saving. Only he can save himself. However, if that was all that existed, there would be no need for the Doctor. He is a time lord and even time lords must give up something in order to live. The TARDIS would be all that was left. That is why she has never taken him home and why she will not take him home now.
