Jax Matsuo personality type is ISTP, a rare and intriguing type. I can't really study him here, as he's a unique individual, but it's easy to see how he's an ISTP. He's a quiet, quiet guy, he's not very social, he's mostly alone, and he doesn't talk a lot. But he's a very quick learner, and he has this great ability to adapt to new situations and environments. In short, he's a natural ISTP who just happens to have a very deep personality.
Jax once again addressed the issue of his personality being too quiet.
