The idea is that there are an infinite number of parallel universes, some of which are more similar to our own universe than others. The trick is that even though it’s possible to travel between different universes, it’s very difficult.
This doesn’t make the Multiverse any less exciting. It’s simply a fact of our reality, not some kind of “magic trick” like teleportation. Theoretically, you could travel to any parallel universe and walk in and out of our universe with no trouble. But you would have to figure out how to get back, and that’s a whole different problem.
I love this idea. It allows us to imagine what the Multiverse would be like if we could actually do this. It could create a weird, alternate reality version of our reality where all the weirdest and most exciting things imaginable could happen.
