Dofus personality type is ESFP, so I am a bundle of emotions and bright ideas. Being a child of a Luddite, I have a passion for technology and a passion for the Internet. I am a big fan of Instant Messaging and have been using it since 1996. I have been using IRC since 1993.
I was born in the late 60s, so I associate computers with my childhood. In my childhood, I had a Commodore 64 with a floppy drive that I used from the time I was 8 years old. I have been using computers ever since.
In 1995, I started writing CGI scripts on my C64 and Commodore Amiga after my teacher showed me how to do it. In 1997, I started a small business doing CGI on a C64 on my own. In 1999, I got my first computer on my own: a Pentium 90 on a home network. It had 8Mb of RAM, a 40Mb HD and a 2Mb HD on it. In 2001, I got a Pentium 3 on my own. In 2002, I got my first PC from work. It had 32Mb of RAM, a 40Gb HD and a 20Gb HD on it.
Dofus is a tactical turn-oriented massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed and published by Ankama Games, a French computer game manufacturer. Originally released solely in French, it has since been translated into many other languages. The game includes both pay-to-play accounts offering the full experience and free-to-play accounts offering a more limited amount of content. Its success has led to the marketing of spin-off products, such as books, art, comics and a movie released in 2016. It has also led to the development of two continuations: Dofus Arena, released at the beginning of 2006, which is an alternative "tournament" version of Dofus; and Wakfu, a continuation of Dofus. The game has attracted over 40 million players worldwide and is especially well known in France.
