Neopets Snarky Snarker
The Snarky Snarker takes delight in making trouble for the rest of Neopia, and is not afraid to speak out against even the most popular figures. However, he is not prone to violence (unless he is provoked) and may resort to sarcasm to get his point across. He is often the one who refuses to go along with the crowd, and if he is indeed "banned", it will be because of his high level of Neopoints (he refuses to spend them on anything other than rare items). He often contributes articles for the Neopian Times, and even has his own TV show on TNT called "Snarky Snarker". He can also be found on the Neoboards, where he is known as "SnarkySnarker."

The website was launched by Adam Powell and Donna Williams in late 1999. Two years later, a consortium of investors led by Doug Dohring bought a controlling interest in the company and in June 2005, Viacom bought Neopets Inc. for US$160 million. On 17 March 2014, Viacom and Nickelodeon sold Neopets to JumpStart Games for an unannounced amount. On 3 July 2017, Chinese company NetDragon acquired JumpStart.
