Regis Philbin personality type is ESFJ, the most common type among TV hosts. I’m an ENFJ, which is more rare, but if I ever had my own show, I’d be the most important person on it.
My mom says that “people are either born leaders or they aren’t,” and this is how I learned to lead at an early age. When I was growing up, my parents were very clear about the fact that if they were happy, it meant I was happy; if they were sad, it meant I was sad; if they were angry, it meant I was angry; and if they weren’t talking to me, I had to do something about it.
If you want to be a good manager, you must be able to read your employees. You must be able to tell what they need and how they feel. And that is something that was drilled into my head from a young age.
Growing up, I always felt that I had a purpose in life, and that purpose was to be a good leader. When you have a legacy like mine, you have a responsibility to leave a legacy behind for the younger generations.
