    Vincent Theodore van Rossem (Wageningen, February 24, 1950) is a Dutch architectural historian, presenter and emeritus professor. He specializes in the history of architecture from the 19th century onwards, in particular that of the city of Amsterdam. Van Rossem has worked as an architectural historian at the Bureau Monuments & Archeology since 1997. He obtained his doctorate cum laude in 1991 from the University of Amsterdam with a thesis entitled The General Expansion Plan of Amsterdam. History and design. As of 1 May 2009, Van Rossem was appointed at the same university as an unpaid professor of Monuments and Urban Development Issues from the period since the 19th century, especially in the city of Amsterdam, at the Faculty of Humanities. He held his public class on February 26, 2010. Prof. dr. Dr. V.T. van Rossem retired on May 14, 2015. From 6 February 2015 he can be seen in the program Hier zijn de Van Rossems together with his brother Maarten and sister Sis.
