Lysander personality type is INFJ, but I’d argue that INFJ is the base character type and not the defining one. The INFJ is characterized as being empathetic, idealistic, and intuitive. These are aspects of the INFJ that I don’t think anyone would argue are not part of the person. The INFJ is also known as the “the counselor” and this character type is a rarity in the world of comics.
Despite these strong personality traits, I don’t think any of them really define a person. I think the INFJ personality is a great base for creating a fictional character. If you can figure out what makes them tick, you can make a character that is funny, endearing, and memorable.
So if the INFJ personality isn’t a real thing, how can we build a fictional character that mirrors it?
In my experience, the best fiction shows the things that make a person tick from a core personality core, without really going into extreme detail. Let’s look at a few examples:
