Juri's mother dies in the accident, and Juri is sent off to a special boarding school in the mountains. He is treated badly by the students there, and is not allowed to be friends with anyone.
One day, Juri meets a girl named Natsuki who has just transferred from another school. The two become friends, and Natsuki helps Juri through his tough times. She also helps him realize that he was not to blame for his mother's death. One day, Natsuki is attacked by some students from the school, and Juri takes the blame for her.
When Juri hears about Natsuki's plans to leave the school, he decides to help her escape. The two make it to a highway, but are stopped by two students.
