Flash personality type is ESTP, and I wonder if this is a result of my history with the police.
My first memory of police presence is of my mom being pulled over because she was speeding. I think I was about four or five at the time, and the cop didn’t even give her a ticket. He just let her off with a warning.
All of my life I’ve had police officers around me. At the juvenile detention facility where I went to high school, there were SWAT teams and K-9 units. The police presence was always there, so I never felt unsafe. There were also plenty of other kids who had similar experiences with police officers, so it wasn’t hard to relate to them.
As far as I know, I’ve only had one bad experience with police officers. I was in high school at the time, and I was visiting my aunt in Spokane, Washington, which is where I’m from. I was listening to my headphones in her living room when this cop came up to me and asked me what I was listening to because noise complaints had been filed against us.
