What did he tell you about the night?
He told me that he was one of the first people out on the street, and that there were only a handful of people there. It was very calm, and very peaceful. A few more people started to show up, and more and more police arrived, but it was still very quiet. This is when he claims that one of the police officers started to be hostile and antagonistic towards the group, and started pointing his gun into the crowd, while shouting orders.
He said that almost all of the people in the group started to leave right then and there, but he stayed because he wanted to document what was going on.
