Andre Nowzick personality type is ISFP, so I am from that same family too.
I think you're right about the ISFP's being more sensitive, though I think that is true of pretty much everybody. I was looking over my MBTI test again this week and realized that I am an ISFP by the results of my tests.
I did treatment for about a year and a half, and I know for a fact that those years were the hardest for me. I hated myself so much, and I was an emotional mess at home and at work. I was never able to have a job that made me happy. My first job out of college was as a learning specialist in a school, and then I got an administrative assistant job and hated it, too. I was only 21 years old, but I was tired of being unhappy and tired of being broke. I finally decided to go back to school, and I got my masters in counseling. I am now working as a counselor for children in school.
I don't think my personality type has changed much, though. I still have the same appreciation of art and writing and music, and I still have the same love of nature that is reflected in my writing.
