Elliot: When I was a teenager I was really into the Beatles and I wanted to be a record executive. I wanted to be in a band, but I just wanted to run the show. But then when I was in college, I was like, “I don’t want to do that anymore.” I got into politics and started getting into philosophy and psychology. I’m not sure how it happened, but I ended up with a major in psychology and also a minor in music.
After college, Elliot worked at a psychotherapy practice and then at an ad agency where he was an account executive. He was really good at it, but he didn’t want to be there anymore so he quit and went down the road of being in bands.
