Courtney personality type is ISTP, but I have observed that ISTPs are more likely to be ISTP than ESTP.
As an ISTP, I’m not generally fond of people who are not entirely focused on me. I have observed this in my interactions with friends, family, and even famous people I’ve observed in movies or TV shows. I will generally find myself annoyed by people who are too concerned with other people’s feelings. This is especially true when the other person is the focus of the show, like in reality TV shows.
There is nothing inherently wrong with these people, but they’re not my favorite. I’m more interested in getting to know me and making sure I’m getting all of my needs met. I like people who are completely focused on me and what I want to talk about.
I often feel like people who are too focused on other people are acting like the stereotypical “good friend” who will do anything for you, even sacrifice their own interests for you, which is annoying. The ISTP in me wants to assert myself and get all of my needs met.
