Lily Potter's Patronus
Lily Potter's Patronus is an otter (she was a Hufflepuff). This is to show that Lily was a very friendly, open-minded person. In her memory, Lily could have chosen to change her Patronus to any other animal, but she decided to be unique by making hers an otter.
Lily's Patronus was presumably destroyed with her body at Godric's Hollow. This is revealed when Harry sees the portrait of Lily with that of the Marauder's Map, showing the location of her grave.
