Regulus Arcturus Black personality type is INTJ, based on his personality type in the anime. In the anime, he is a very calm and intelligent leader who is very good at judging people. He is a logical person who believes that knowledge is power, and that the more experience a person has in a certain topic, the better they will become in that topic. He believes in a strict meritocracy and believes that a person's intelligence is what determines their power. This is shown when he doesn't believe in the Shadow Kin being able to kill him, because he believes that intelligence is what determines power. In addition, he believes that he can best all of the other Dark Generals with his intelligence.
In the manga, it appears that he has a bit of a dark side to him, however it is not shown much. He seems to have a darker, more "manly" personality in contrast to his anime counterpart. He also seems to be very prideful at times, as when he was told that he lost a battle against his father. While he may be prideful, he does show mercy to other people; when Sirius misted on him, he gave him time to find his friends and apologize.
Regulus Arcturus Black, also known as R.A.B., was a pure-blood wizard, born to Orion and Walburga Black, and the younger brother of Sirius Black. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1972 and was sorted into the Slytherin house. Regulus became a Death Eater in his youth, but defected when he found what Lord Voldemort would do in order to reach his aims. Regulus also learned about one of Voldemort's horcruxes, and decided to destroy it. He was killed after acquiring Salazar Slytherin's Locket in 1979.
