I'm currently in my third year of college and am majoring in Japanese Literature. I know that I've been in love with anime/manga since I was a kid, but somehow, I never really had much of a passion for writing. I liked writing essays and such when I was in middle school, but it was just a hobby. When I went to high school, I loved writing papers and creating stories (my memories of my middle school teacher are a bit hazy) for my friends, but never thought about becoming an author. It wasn't until I discovered the blog of a friend from high school who is an avid reader and writer that I began to read more, and fall in love with writing. I started writing fan fiction for my favorite anime, and now I've started writing novels for fun. I'm not sure if it's because of my personality type or not, but I always choose to be the random character in the story, or the big brother character who's always there for them.
