Yamada Asaemon Kisho personality type is INTJ, but I have a hard time believing that he would be a true INTJ. He would have been a more typical ISTJ. He is a very introverted person who is not particularly interested in or good at public speaking which is a classic INTJ trait. He is also a bit of a loner, and while the ISTJ is a strong "we" person, Yamada Asaemon Kisho is more of a "me" person. Still, I suppose that the ISTJ might be a good fit for this kind of character as well.
I'll certainly keep looking for the ISTJ/ENTJ combination, as I think it would be a fascinating idea. It would help explain some of the behavior of Asaemon Yamada, and maybe even explain why his family was so tightly knit.
