From my experience, the ISTJ personality type is the most difficult personality type to understand, and I think Taiga is evidence of this. She has a very spartan and simple outlook on life and doesn't seem to be interested in fancy clothes or makeup. She also doesn't seem to be very interested in socializing. Perhaps this is due to her weak social skills, which can be seen when she can't focus on the TV when someone is talking to her, or when she has a breakdown in front of Yukina. This is in stark contrast to her mother who is the complete opposite of the ISTJ personality type, and is very social and outgoing. Her mother's personality type is also very dominant in regards to her work life. If she feels like working on something, she will spend all of her time doing it.
When it comes to Taiga's supposed "sexy" qualities, she looks pretty plain.
